Farquhar was declared the winner after the race was red flagged on the

Controversy raged in the second 600 event when he was stripped of a double
win when he was declared to have passed under yellow flags.

Adrian Archibald looked to have the race in the bag before tyre problems
slowed his pace.

red flags come out after 1 lap.
As gorgeous as it looks and sounds the Duke doesn't seem to have the grunt
of the GSXR hoards.

I have to admit I was just waiting for DJ to lose the back end here on
every lap, of course he never did.

Comments: Who
needs the Red Arrows after this poor 600 Suzuki cried enough.
In the only
dry race all day Michael Rutter claimed the first Superbike win on his
Ducati 998 from Suzuki's Adrian Archibald and a surprise third for Steve
Plater on the ex Colin Edwards Honda SP2.
Archibald scored a popular first North West victory in the Production
1000 Race
with Ryan Farquhar
also claiming a maiden win in the 600 Junior.
Ian Lougher made up for a dismal showing in the Superbikes to bounce back
to snatch a last corner win from Michael Wilcox.
Farquhar made the headlines again with a second 600 win only to be disqualified
for passing Ian Lougher under yellow flags, this elevated Bruce Anstie
to a fine second place on the union jacked Valmoto Triumph Daytona.
