In the good old days, before the curse of these ugly black and white poles, the mountain was fenced with wire mesh between bright yellow concrete posts.
Not exactly safe but very photogenic.

Bruce Anstey snatched a dramatic Superstock TT when team mate Adrian Archibald Suzuki GSXR spluttered to a halt at the Bungalow with only 8 miles to the flag while holding an eighteen second lead.
This was after pitting on the penultimate lap, so whereto point the finger of blame,who was the man on the pump?
Well the man on the nozzle was none other than TAS Suzuki team boss Hector Neil!
How does the adage go about how the Boss is always right, refer to rule No1 when he's wrong......
