I pressed the shutter the outfit violently snapped sideways, you can clearly
see the front wheel off the ground but infact all three wheels are airborne.

Three riders take the first lap of the TT Mountain Course following a
traveling marshal, thankfully not Tony Duncan or Trubby.... only joking
boys! - get well soon Keith.
In Wednesdays 600 Junior TT Ian Hutchinson nearly produced the upset
of the week with a race long duel with Honda's John Mcguiness.
At Ramsey Hairpin on the last of four laps only 9 miles to the flag Mcguiness's
lead was down to just six seconds, it was going to be a nail biting finish.
When the HM plant CBR 600 crossed the line John had pulled an extra 2
seconds out over the mountain to win his second race of the week with
an 8 second gap over the McAdoo Kawasaki rider.
TT officials later disqualified Hutchinson from second place due to "technical
infringement" although it was clearly stated it had not given any
performance advantage and there was no suggestion of cheating.
If this year is anything to go by then don't bet against 125 years as
TT 2006 was easily the best racing I've covered since the heady days of
Fogarty and Hislop.
The young names who are coming through the ranks to challenge the established
stars is heartening, Martin Finnegan, Guy Martin, Ian Hutchinson, Cameron
Donald, there is real genuine talent coming to fruition, and with new
and enthusiastic faces involved in the organisation of the Races the future
should hold well.
Just don't expect a fortnight of glorious unbroken sunshine every year......
