The Centenary TT dawned, the whole world wanted to come and party and those that made the trip were not disappointed.
Top class rock and pop acts, TT stars from yesteryear, along with the main event, the racing itself with many pundits predicting upsets with young chargers like Guy Martin and Cameron Donald upsetting the established order.
Donald never made practice after another hefty spill at the Northwest 200,but Martin, Ian Hutchinson and Martin Finnegan were indeed all on the pace through a mixed practice week, so would the established old guard of John Mcguiness, Ian Lougher and Bruce Anstey be able to add to their collective18 TT wins.
We would have to wait an extra 48 hours to find out as due to rain and mist the curtain raising Superbike Race was postponed till the Monday morning thus giving the fans 3 nonstop days of solid racing.
