Comments: Eye in the sky, cameraman extraodinaire Simon Werry has the best seat in the house looking down upon the start of the Sidecar B race, that oversized playstation pad is infact the camera's control panel.
We've all marveled at Greenlights aerial TT coverage using a helicopter mounted camera (a state of the art CineFlex Hi-Def gimble setup, a snip at only $500,000 each, helicopter not included, and NO he wouldn't let me have a go)
Later I asked Simon what his highlight of the week had been
"Hurtling around the track at 150mph locked into a TV screen and trying to chase bikes doing 190mph doesn't give you much time to take in the special moments when they happen, but I suppose the highlight for me would have to be John McG cracking the 130 mark and doing a wheelie for the last quarter mile to the finish. (Simon captured this for posterity if you haven't seen this years fantastic TT coverage yet)
"After all the race's are all about how fast a man and machine can propel themselves around this awesome track, and this year being the Centenary it was a fitting tribute to all the riders that have ever raced at the TT "

Its not all about the racing, the TT's parades and sideshows are what make the event the biggest biking festival in the world.
The never to be repeated 1907 re-enactment was a real highlight of the festivities, squint and you could have been transported back to that very first TT on the 28th of May 1907.
Heres to the next hundred years.........
